Paracelsus In Excelsis Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLM

Being no longer human why should IA
Pretend humanity or don the frail attireB
Men have I known and men but never oneC
Was grown so free an essence or becomeD
So simply element as what I amE
The mist goes from the mirror and I seeF
Behold the world of forms is swept beneathG
Turmoil grown visible beneath our peaceH
And we that are grown formless rise aboveI
Fluids intangible that have been menJ
We seem as statues round whose high risen baseK
Some overflowing river is run madL
In us alone the element of calm 'M
