Lady of rich allureA
Queen of the spring's embraceB
Your arms are long like boughs of ashC
Mid laugh broken streams spirit of rain unsureA
Breath of the poppy flowerD
All the wood thy bowerD
And the hills thy dwelling placeB
-
This will I no more dreamE
Warm is thy arm's allureA
Warm is the gust of breathF
That ere thy lips meet mineG
Kisseth my cheek and saithF
This is the joy of earthF
Here is the wine of mirthF
Drain ye one goblet sureA
-
Take ye the honey cupH
The honied song raise upH
Drink of the spring's allureA
April and dew and rainI
Brown of the earth sing sureA
Cheeks and lips and hairJ
And soft breath that kisseth whereJ
Thy lips have come not yet to drinkK
-
Moss and the mold of earthF
These be thy couch of mirthF
Long arms thy boughs of shadeL
April alluring as the bladeL
Of grass doth catch the dewM
And make it crown to hold the sunN
Banner be youM
Above my headO
Glory to all wold display'dL
April alluring glory boldP
