Envoi Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDDEF GHIJKLLMN OPOQRRLSTD

Go dumb born bookA
Tell her that sang me once that song of LawesB
Hadst thou but songC
As thou hast subjects knownD
Then were there cause in thee that should condoneD
Even my faults that heavy upon me lieE
And build her glories their longevityF
-
Tell her that shedsG
Such treasure in the airH
Recking naught else but that her graces giveI
Life to the momentJ
I would bid them liveK
As roses might in magic amber laidL
Red overwrought with orange and all madeL
One substance and one colorM
Braving timeN
-
Tell her that goesO
With song upon her lipsP
But sings not out the song nor knowsO
The maker of it some other mouthQ
May be as fair as hersR
Might in new ages gain her worshippersR
When our two dusts with Waller's shall be laidL
Siftings on siftings in oblivionS
Till change hath broken downT
All things save beauty aloneD
