The Lost Lagoon Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBBA ACCCA ADDDA

It is dusk on the Lost LagoonA
And we two dreaming the dusk awayB
Beneath the drift of a twilight greyB
Beneath the drowse of an ending dayB
And the curve of a golden moonA
-
It is dark in the Lost LagoonA
And gone are the depths of haunting blueC
The grouping gulls and the old canoeC
The singing firs and the dusk and youC
And gone is the golden moonA
-
O lure of the Lost LagoonA
I dream to night that my paddle blursD
The purple shade where the seaweed stirsD
I hear the call of the singing firsD
In the hush of the golden moonA
