Finale Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCDEDECC

The cedar trees have sung their vesper hymnA
And now the music sleepsB
Its benediction falling where the dimA
Dusk of the forest creepsB
Mute grows the great concerto and the lightC
Of day is darkening Good night Good nightC
But through the night time I shall hear withinD
The murmur of these treesE
The calling of your distant violinD
Sobbing across the seasE
And waking wind and star reflected lightC
Shall voice my answering Good night Good nightC
