We learned the Whole of Love-
The Alphabet-the Words-
A Chapter-then the mighty Book-
Then-Revelation closed-
But in Each Other's eyes
An Ignorance beheld-
Diviner than the Childhood's-
And each to each, a Child-
Attempted to expound
What Neither-understood-
Alas, that Wisdom is so large-
