A
-
The Trees like Tassels hit and swungB
There seemed to rise a TuneC
From Miniature CreaturesD
Accompanying the SunE
-
Far Psalteries of SummerF
Enamoring the EarG
They never yet did satisfyH
Remotest when most fairI
-
The Sun shone whole at intervalsJ
Then Half then utter hidK
As if Himself were optionalL
And had Estates of CloudM
-
Sufficient to enfold HimN
Eternally from viewO
Except it were a whim of HisP
To let the Orchards growQ
-
A Bird sat careless on the fenceR
One gossipped in the LaneS
On silver matters charmed a SnakeT
Just winding round a StoneU
-
Bright Flowers slit a CalyxV
And soared upon a StemW
Like Hindered Flags Sweet hoistedX
With Spices in the HemW
-
'Twas more I cannot mentionE
How mean to those that seeY
Vandyke's DelineationE
Of Nature's Summer DayZ
