The Railway Train Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IJKL KMNO

I like to see it lap the milesA
And lick the valleys upB
And stop to feed itself at tanksC
And then prodigious stepD
-
Around a pile of mountainsE
And supercilious peerF
In shanties by the sides of roadsG
And then a quarry pareH
-
To fit its sides and crawl betweenI
Complaining all the whileJ
In horrid hooting stanzaK
Then chase itself down the hillL
-
And neigh like BoanergesK
Then punctual as a starM
Stop docile and omnipotentN
At its own stable doorO
