And grateful that a thingC

I told my Soul to sing mdashB

And so to mend her mdash gave me workD
Until another Morn mdashB

And then mdash a Day as hugeE
As Yesterdays in pairsF
Unrolled its horror in my face mdashB
Until it blocked my eyes mdashB

My Brain mdash begun to laugh mdashB
I mumbled mdash like a fool mdashB
And tho' 'tis Years ago mdash that Day mdashB
My Brain keeps giggling mdash stillG

And Something's odd mdash within mdashB
That person that I was mdashB
And this One mdash do not feel the same mdashB
