Summer Shower Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EAFA GHIH JAKI

A drop fell on the apple treeA
Another on the roofB
A half a dozen kissed the eavesC
And made the gables laughD
-
A few went out to help the brookE
That went to help the seaA
Myself conjectured Were they pearlsF
What necklaces could beA
-
The dust replaced in hoisted roadsG
The birds jocoser sungH
The sunshine threw his hat awayI
The orchards spangles hungH
-
The breezes brought dejected lutesJ
And bathed them in the gleeA
The East put out a single flagK
And signed the fete awayI
