Rhyme Scheme: A BCDE FGHI JIKJ LMNMOM

A
-
I often passed the villageB
When going home from schoolC
And wondered what they did thereD
And why it was so stillE
-
I did not know the year thenF
In which my call would comeG
Earlier by the DialH
Than the rest have goneI
-
It's stiller than the sundownJ
It's cooler than the dawnI
The Daisies dare to come hereK
And birds can flutter downJ
-
So when you are tiredL
Or perplexed or coldM
Trust the loving promiseN
Underneath the mouldM
Cry it's I take DollieO
And I will enfoldM
