I had no Cause to be awakeB
My Best was gone to sleepC
And Morn a new politeness tookD
And failed to wake them upE
-
But called the others clearF
And passed their Curtains byG
Sweet Morning when I oversleepC
Knock Recollect to MeH

I looked at Sunrise OnceI
And then I looked at ThemJ
And wishfulness in me aroseK
For Circumstance the sameL

'Twas such an Ample PeaceM
It could not hold a SighG
'Twas Sabbath with the Bells divorcedN
'Twas Sunset all the DayO
-
So choosing but a GownP
And taking but a PrayerQ
The only Raiment I should needR
I struggled and was ThereQ
