-
Dear March Come inB
How glad I amC
I hoped for you beforeD
-
Put down your HatE
You must have walkedF
How out of Breath you areG
Dear March Come right up the stairs with meH
I have so much to tellI
-
I got your Letter and the BirdsJ
The Maples never knew that you were coming till I calledK
I declare how Red their Faces grewL
But March forgive me andM
All those Hills you left for me to HueL
There was no Purple suitableN
You took it all with youL
-
Who knocks That AprilN
Lock the DoorD
I will not be pursuedO
He stayed away a Year to callP
When I am occupiedQ
But trifles look so trivialN
As soon as you have comeR
-
That Blame is just as dear as PraiseS
And Praise as mere as BlameT
