A
-
Before I got my eye put outB
I liked as well to seeC
As other Creatures that have EyesD
And know no other wayE
-
But were it told to me TodayE
That I might have the skyF
For mine I tell you that my HeartG
Would split for size of meC
-
The Meadows mineH
The Mountains mineH
All Forests Stintless StarsI
As much of Noon as I could takeJ
Between my finite eyesD
-
The Motions of the Dipping BirdsK
The Morning's Amber RoadL
For mine to look at when I likedM
The News would strike me deadN
-
So safer guess with just my soulO
Upon the Window paneP
Where other Creatures put their eyesD
Incautious of the SunQ
