A Solemn Thing'it Was'i Said Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDC EFGH IJKL EMNM

A
-
A solemn thing it was I saidB
A woman white to beC
And wear if God should count me fitD
Her blameless mysteryC
-
A hallowed thing to drop a lifeE
Into the purple wellF
Too plummetless that it returnG
Eternity untilH
-
I pondered how the bliss would lookI
And would it feel as bigJ
When I could take it in my handK
As hovering seen through fogL
-
And then the size of this small lifeE
The Sages call it smallM
Swelled like Horizons in my vestN
And I sneered softly smallM
