My Lady's Grave Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEG HAIA JAJA KLKL MAMA

The linnet in the rocky dellsA
The moor lark in the airB
The bee among the heather bellsA
That hide my lady fairB
-
The wild deer browse above her breastC
The wild birds raise their broodD
And they her smiles of love caress'dC
Have left her solitudeD
-
I ween that when the grave's dark wallE
Did first her form retainF
They thought their hearts could ne'er recallE
The light of joy againG
-
They thought the tide of grief would flowH
Uncheck'd through future yearsA
But where is all their anguish nowI
And where are all their tearsA
-
Well let them fight for honour's breathJ
Or pleasure's shade pursueA
The dweller in the land of deathJ
Is changed and careless tooA
-
And if their eyes should watch and weepK
Till sorrow's source were dryL
She would not in her tranquil sleepK
Return a single sighL
-
Blow west wind by the lonely moundM
And murmur summer streamsA
There is no need of other soundM
To soothe my lady's dreamsA
