Outbid Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE BDGD HIJI KLMN BHMH OPBP DAEA

When Cupid held an auction saleA
I hastened to his martB
For I had heard that he would sellC
The blue eyed Dora's heartB
-
I brought a wealth of truest loveD
The most that I could profferE
Because forsooth of stocks or bondsF
I had not one to offerE
-
When Cupid offered Dora's heartB
I bid my whole heart's loveD
A love that reached from sea to seaG
And to the sky aboveD
-
And When Sir Cupid called for moreH
I bid my hands and lifeI
That should be hers for servitudeJ
If she became my wifeI
-
Then Going going Cupid criedK
The silence was intenseL
Until old Goldbags said I bidM
My stocks and four per centsN
-
Then Cupid cried Fair Dora's heartB
That ne'er was sold beforeH
Does anybody raise the bidM
Will any offer moreH
-
If not but Count Decrepit roseO
Infirm decayed and slimP
I hid my title and her heartB
Was there knocked down to himP
-
Well titles may be more than loveD
I shall not rant nor railA
For after all I much preferE
Some heart that's not for saleA
