Anticipation Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDEF GHGH

I hold her letter as I standA
Nor break the seal no need to guessB
What dainty little female handA
Penned this most delicate addressB
-
The scented seal I break it notC
But stand in stormy reveryD
I tremble as I wonder whatE
She who penned this will say to meF
-
I wonder what my wife will sayG
If so it be she e'er shall knowH
I only mailed her note todayG
It should have gone two weeks agoH
