Now Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFFI leave with God to morrow's where and how | A |
And do concern myself but with the Now | A |
That little word though half the future's length | B |
Well used holds twice its meaning and its strength | B |
- | |
Like one blindfolded groping out his way | C |
I will not try to touch beyond to day | C |
Since all the future is concealed from sight | D |
I need but strive to make the next step right | D |
- | |
That done the next and so on till I find | E |
Perchance some day I am no longer blind | E |
And looking up behold a radiant Friend | F |
Who says Rest now for you have reached the end | F |
