| i opened my mouth to scream but failed to make a single sound | A |
| The serpent's tail wrapped all around my body as i fight to breathe | B |
| Making all these decisions contemplating wondering where they'll all lead | C |
| Standing at the edge and thinking maybe it should all end | D |

| Praying that this broken heart is what God would start to mend | D |
| Then just as i take that final step and slowly begin | E |

| fall | F |
| From the distant winds i hear his voice as a silent but threatening call | F |
| The sound of his voice held onto me and it was all made new | - |
| I took a deep breath grew wings and I flew | - |
