March Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CCCC DEED FGGF

Ho wind of March speed over seaA
From mountains where the snows lie deepB
The cruel glaciers threatening creepB
And witness this my jubileeA
-
Roar from the surf of boreal islesC
Roar from the hidden jagged steepsC
Where the destroyer never sleepsC
Ring through the iceberg's Gothic pilesC
-
Voyage through space with your wild trainD
Harping its shrillest searching toneE
Or wailing deep its ancient moanE
And learn how impotent your reignD
-
Then hover by this garden bedF
With all your wilful power beholdG
Just breaking from the leafy mouldG
My little primrose lift its headF
