Gone Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIJ

To touch the glove upon her tender handA
To watch the jewel sparkle in her ringB
Lifted my heart into a sudden songC
As when the wild birds singB
-
To touch her shadow on the sunny grassD
To break her pathway through the darkened woodE
Filled all my life with trembling and tearsF
And silence where I stoodE
-
I watch the shadows gather round my heartG
I live to know that she is goneH
Gone gone for ever like the tender doveI
That left the Ark aloneJ
