Flanders Fields Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC DEFFCC

Here the scanted daisy glowsA
Glorious as the carmined roseA
Here the hill top's verdure meanB
Fair is with unfading greenB
Here where sorrow still must treadC
All her graves are garlandedC
-
And still O glad passer byD
Of the fields of agonyE
Lower laughter's voice and bareF
Thy head in the valley whereF
Poppies bright and rustling wheatC
Are a desert to love's feetC
