Children Of Wealth In Your Warm Nursery Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDCECE FGFGHI

Children of wealth in your warm nurseryA
Set in the cushioned window seat to watchB
The volleying snow guarded invisiblyC
By the clear double pane through which no touchD
Untimely penetrates you cannot tellC
What winter means its cruel truths to youE
Are only sound and sight your citadelC
Is safe from feeling and from knowledge tooE
-
Go down go out to elemental wrongF
Waste your too round limbs tan your skin too whiteG
The glass of comfort ignorance seems strongF
To day and yet perhaps this very nightG
You'll wake to horror's wrecking fire your homeH
Is wired within for this in every roomI
