The Weakest Thing Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GBGBHBHB IBIBJIJI

Which is the weakest thing of allA
Mine heart can ponderB
The sun a little cloud can pallC
With darkness yonderB
The cloud a little wind can moveD
Where'er it listethE
The wind a little leaf aboveF
Though sere resistethE
-
What time that yellow leaf was greenG
My days were gladderB
But now whatever Spring may meanG
I must grow sadderB
Ah me a leaf with sighs can wringH
My lips asunderB
Then is mine heart the weakest thingH
Itself can ponderB
-
Yet Heart when sun and cloud are pinedI
And drop togetherB
And at a blast which is not windI
The forests witherB
Thou from the darkening deathly curseJ
To glory breakestI
The Strongest of the universeJ
Guarding the weakestI
