Sonnets From The Portuguese Xxv Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACBBADEDEDE

A heavy heart Belov d have I borneA
From year to year until I saw thy faceB
And sorrow after sorrow took the placeB
Of all those natural joys as lightly wornA
As the stringed pearls each lifted in its turnC
By a beating heart at dance time Hopes apaceB
Were changed to long despairs till God's own graceB
Could scarcely lift above the world forlornA
My heavy heart Then thou didst bid me bringD
And let it drop adown thy calmly greatE
Deep being Fast it sinketh as a thingD
Which its own nature does precipitateE
While thine doth close above it mediatingD
Betwixt the stars and the unaccomplished fateE
