Sonnets From The Portuguese Xii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDDBBDECECEC

Indeed this very love which is my boastA
And which when rising up from breast to browB
Doth crown me with a ruby large enowC
To draw men's eyes and prove the inner costD
This love even all my worth to the uttermostD
I should not love withal unless that thouB
Hadst set me an example shown me howB
When first thine earnest eyes with mine were crossedD
And love called love And thus I cannot speakE
Of love even as a good thing of my ownC
Thy soul hath snatched up mine all faint and weakE
And placed it by thee on a golden throneC
And that I love O soul we must be meekE
Is by thee only whom I love aloneC
