Rhyme Scheme: A BCCBBCCBDEDFDF

XXXA
-
I see thine image through my tears to nightB
And yet to day I saw thee smiling HowC
Refer the cause mdash Beloved is it thouC
Or I who makes me sad The acolyteB
Amid the chanted joy and thankful riteB
May so fall flat with pale insensate browC
On the altar stair I hear thy voice and vowC
Perplexed uncertain since thou art out of sightB
As he in his swooning ears the choir's AmenD
Beloved dost thou love or did I see allE
The glory as I dreamed and fainted whenD
Too vehement light dilated my idealF
For my soul's eyes Will that light come againD
As now these tears come mdash falling hot and realF
