Sonnet 12 - Indeed This Very Love Which Is My Boast Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDEBCCBFDFEFD

XIIA
-
Indeed this very love which is my boastB
And which when rising up from breast to browC
Doth crown me with a ruby large enowD
To draw men's eyes and prove the inner cost mdashE
This love even all my worth to the uttermostB
I should not love withal unless that thouC
Hadst set me an example shown me howC
When first thine earnest eyes with mine were crossedB
And love called love And thus I cannot speakF
Of love even as a good thing of my ownD
Thy soul hath snatched up mine all faint and weakF
And placed it by thee on a golden throne mdashE
And that I love O soul we must be meekF
Is by thee only whom I love aloneD
