Sonnet 05 - I Lift My Heavy Heart Up Solemnly Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A ABBAABCADEDEDE

VA
-
I lift my heavy heart up solemnlyA
As once Electra her sepulchral urnB
And looking in thine eyes I overturnB
The ashes at thy feet Behold and seeA
What a great heap of grief lay hid in meA
And how the red wild sparkles dimly burnB
Through the ashen grayness If thy foot in scornC
Could tread them out to darkness utterlyA
It might be well perhaps But if insteadD
Thou wait beside me for the wind to blowE
The gray dust up those laurels on thine headD
O my Beloved will not shield thee soE
That none of all the fires shall scorch and shredD
The hair beneath Stand farther off then goE
