Insufficiency Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDCDCD| When I attain to utter forth in verse | A |
| Some inward thought my soul throbs audibly | B |
| Along my pulses yearning to be free | B |
| And something farther fuller higher rehearse | A |
| To the individual true and the universe | A |
| In consummation of right harmony | B |
| But like a wind exposed distorted tree | B |
| We are blown against for ever by the curse | A |
| Which breathes through Nature Oh the world is weak | C |
| The effluence of each is false to all | D |
| And what we best conceive we fail to speak | C |
| Wait soul until thine ashen garments fall | D |
| And then resume thy broken strains and seek | C |
| Fit peroration without let or thrall | D |
