Velvet Shoes Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABB CDCEE FGFGH IAIAA

Let us walk in the white snowA
In a soundless spaceB
With footsteps quiet snd slowA
At a tranquil paceB
Under veils of white laceB
-
I shall go shod in silkC
And you in woolD
White as white cow's milkC
More beautifulE
Than the breast of a gullE
-
We shall walk through the still townF
In a windless peaceG
We shall step upon white downF
Upon silver fleeceG
Upon softer than theseH
-
We shall walk in velvet shoesI
Wherever we goA
Silence will fall like dewsI
On white silence belowA
We shall walk in the snowA
