To whistle mocking bird repliesB
This is another bird you've caughtC
Soft feathered with a falcon's eyesB

Her wings are coloured like the sunD
Her breast is coloured like the moonE

Weave her a chain of silver twistF
And a little hood of scarlet woolG
And let her perch upon your wristF
And tell her she is beautifulH
