Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF CGCG

The icicles wreathingA
On trees in festoonB
Swing swayed to our breathingA
They're made of the moonB
-
She's a pale waxen taperC
And these seem to dripD
Transparent as paperC
From the flame of her tipD
-
Molten smoking a littleE
Into crystal they passF
Falling freezing to brittleE
And delicate glassF
-
Each a sharp pointed flowerC
Each a brief stalactiteG
Which hangs for an hourC
In the blue cave of nightG
