Poor Earth Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

It is not heaven bitter seedA
Leavens its entrails with despairB
It is a star where dragons breedA
Devils have a footing thereB
-
The sky has bent it out of shapeC
The sun has strapped it to his wheelD
Its course is crooked to escapeC
Traps and gins of stone and steelD
-
It balances on air and spinsE
Snared by strong transparent spaceF
I forgive it all its sinsE
I kiss the scars upon its faceF
