Bells In The Rain Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE FGFG

Sleep falls with limpid drops of rainA
Upon the steep cliffs of the townB
Sleep falls men are at peace againC
While the small drops fall softly downB
-
The bright drops ring like bells of glassD
Thinned by the wind and lightly blownE
Sleep cannot fall on peaceful grassD
So softly as it falls on stoneE
-
Peace falls unheeded on the deadF
Asleep they have had deep peace to drinkG
Upon a live man's bloody headF
It falls most tenderly I thinkG
