| He folds his arms and begs bread | H |
| From the crumbs or remains of the diligent | E |

| He remains poor not for lack of money | D |
| But from loss of ideas to yield forth some fruits | I |
| Place him in the land of milk and honey | D |
| He lacks the strength to dig and fetch | J |
| Insolence a sickness once contracted | K |
| Kills the spirit of work in a man | D |
