The Confirmation Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCABCDEEFGGHFH

Yes yours my love is the right human faceA
I in my mind had waited for this longB
Seeing the false and searching for the trueC
Then found you as a traveller finds a placeA
Of welcome suddenly amid the wrongB
Valleys and rocks and twisting roads But youC
What shall I call you A fountain in a wasteD
A well of water in a country dryE
Or anything that's honest and good an eyeE
That makes the whole world seem bright Your open heartF
Simple with giving gives the primal deedG
The first good world the blossom the blowing seedG
The hearth the steadfast land the wandering seaH
Not beautiful or rare in every partF
But like yourself as they were meant to beH
