Upon A Wasp Chilled With Cold Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDDEEFFGHIJFKLMNN OPQQNNII OPMMPPQQRRIJSSRR

The bear that breathes the northern blastA
Did numb torpedo like a waspB
Whose stiffened limbs encramped lay bathingC
In Sol's warm breath and shine as savingC
Which with her hands she chafes and standsD
Rubbing her legs shanks thighs and handsD
Her pretty toes and fingers' endsE
Nipped with this breath she out extendsE
Unto the sun in great desireF
To warm her digits at that fireF
Doth hold her temples in this stateG
Where pulse doth beat and head doth acheH
Doth turn and stretch her body smallI
Doth comb her velvet capitalJ
As if her little brain pan wereF
A volume of choice precepts clearK
As if her satin jacket hotL
Contained apothecary's shopM
Of nature's receipts that prevailsN
To remedy all her sad ailsN
As if her velvet helmet highO
Did turret rationalityP
She fans her wing up to the windQ
As if her pettycoat were linedQ
With reason's fleece and hoists sailsN
And humming flies in thankful galesN
Unto her dun curled palace hallI
Her warm thanks offering for allI
-
Lord clear my misted sight that IO
May hence view Thy divinityP
Some sparks whereof thou up dost haspM
Within this little downy waspM
In whose small corporation weP
A school and a schoolmaster seeP
Where we may learn and easily findQ
A nimble spirit bravely mindQ
Her work in every limb and laceR
It up neat with a vital graceR
Acting each part though ne'er so smallI
Here of this fustian animalJ
Till I enravished climb intoS
The Godhead on this ladder doS
Where all my pipes inspired upraiseR
An heavenly music furred with praiseR
