Not Yet A Poet Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFF

Aye many a rhyme my pen has flownA
In oblivion all unknownA
Still many more perchance I sayB
Float on in one unbroken layB
But ask me naught of where or whenC
Long as they ring in hearts of menC
Dear friend I say these words to youD
Which through the ages will be trueD
Though I have power to combineE
These subtle rhymes of each sweet lineE
Yet I shall never live to seeF
The title POET given meF
