In oblivion all unknown | A |
Still many more perchance I say | B |
Float on in one unbroken lay | B |
But ask me naught of where or when | C |
Long as they ring in hearts of men | C |
Dear friend I say these words to you | D |
Which through the ages will be true | D |
Though I have power to combine | E |
These subtle rhymes of each sweet line | E |
Yet I shall never live to see | F |
