Branch Library Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CD EF GH IA

I wish I could find that skinny long beaked boyA
who perched in the branches of the old branch libraryB
-
He spent the Sabbath flying between the wobbly stacksC
and the flimsy wooden tables on the second floorD
-
pecking at nuts nesting in broken spines scratchingE
notes under his own corner patch of skyF
-
I'd give anything to find that birdy boy againG
bursting out into the dusky blue afternoonH
-
with his satchel of scrawls and scribblesI
radiating heat singing with joyA
