After A Long Insomniac Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CDEB FGAH IJKLM NOP

I walked down to the sea in the early morningA
after a long insomniac nightB
-
-
I climbed over the giant gull colored rocksC
and moved past the treesD
tall dancers stretching their limbsE
and warming up in the blue lightB
-
-
I entered the salty water a penitentF
whose body was stainedG
and swam toward a red star risingA
in the east regal purple robedH
-
-
One shore disappeared behind meI
and another beckonedJ
I confessK
that I forgot the person I had beenL
as easily as the clouds drifting overheadM
-
-
My hands parted the waterN
The wind pressed at my back wingsO
and my soul floated over the whitecapped wavesP
