Weeds Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCB EFEF GHGH

White with daisies and red with sorrelA
And empty empty under the skyB
Life is a quest and love a quarrelA
Here is a place for me to lieB
-
Daisies spring from damned seedsC
And this red fire that here I seeD
Is a worthless crop of crimson weedsC
Cursed by farmers thriftilyB
-
But here unhated for an hourE
The sorrel runs in ragged flameF
The daisy stands a bastard flowerE
Like flowers that bear an honest nameF
-
And here a while where no wind bringsG
The baying of a pack athirstH
May sleep the sleep of blessed thingsG
The blood too bright the brow accurstH
