Sonnets 11: As To Some Lovely Temple, Tenantless Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAAAABACDECFD

As to some lovely temple tenantlessA
Long since that once was sweet with shivering brassA
Knowing well its altars ruined and the grassA
Grown up between the stones yet from excessA
Of grief hard driven or great lonelinessA
The worshiper returns and those who passA
Marvel him crying on a name that was mdashB
So is it now with me in my distressA
Your body was a temple to DelightC
Cold are its ashes whence the breath is fledD
Yet here one time your spirit was wont to moveE
Here might I hope to find you day or nightC
And here I come to look for you my loveF
Even now foolishly knowing you are deadD
