Song Of A Second April Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBA CDCDDC EFEFGE

April this year not otherwiseA
Than April of a year agoB
Is full of whispers full of sighsA
Of dazzling mud and dingy snowB
Hepaticas that pleased you soB
Are here again and butterfliesA
-
There rings a hammering all dayC
And shingles lie about the doorsD
In orchards near and far awayC
The grey wood pecker taps and boresD
The men are merry at their choresD
And children earnest at their playC
-
The larger streams run still and deepE
Noisy and swift the small brooks runF
Among the mullein stalks the sheepE
Go up the hillside in the sunF
Pensively only you are goneG
You that alone I cared to keepE
