Night Is My Sister, And How Deep In Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCEFGFGHH

Night is my sister and how deep in loveA
How drowned in love and weedily washed ashoreB
There to be fretted by the drag and shoveA
At the tide's edge I lie mdash these things and moreB
Whose arm alone between me and the sandC
Whose voice alone whose pitiful breath brought nearD
Could thaw these nostrils and unlock this handC
She could advise you should you care to hearE
Small chance however in a storm so blackF
A man will leave his friendly fire and snugG
For a drowned woman's sake and bring her backF
To drip and scatter shells upon the rugG
No one but Night with tears on her dark faceH
Watches beside me in this windy placeH
