whenas a storme hath dimd her trusty guyde | A |
out of her course doth wander far astray | B |
So I whose star that wont with her bright ray | B |
me to direct with cloudes is ouercast | A |
doe wander now in darknesse and dismay | B |
through hidden perils round about me plast | A |
Yet hope I well that when this storme is past | A |
My Helice the lodestar of my lyfe | C |
will shine again and looke on me at last | A |
with louely light to cleare my cloudy grief | C |
Till then I wander carefull comfortlesse | D |
in secret sorow and sad pensiuenesse | D |
