Rhyme Scheme: ABACCDCDDADAEE

SWeet is the Rose but growes vpon a brereA
Sweet is the Iunipere but sharpe his boughB
sweet is the Eglantine but pricketh nereA
sweet is the firbloome but his braunches roughC
Sweet is the Cypresse but his rynd is toughC
sweet is the nut but bitter is his pillD
sweet is the broome flowre but yet sowre enoughC
and sweet is Moly but his root is illD
So euery sweet with soure is tempred stillD
that maketh it be coueted the moreA
for easie things that may be got at willD
most sorts of men doe set but little storeA
Why then should I accoumpt of little paineE
that endlesse pleasure shall vnto me gaineE
