Penelope for her Vlisses sakeB
Deuiz'd a Web her wooers to deceaueC
in which the worke that she all day did makeB
the same at night she did againe vnreaueD
Such subtile craft my Damzell doth conceaueC
th'importune suit of my desire to shonneE
for all that I in many dayes doo weaueF
in one short houre I find by her vndonneE
So when I thinke to end that I begonneE
I must begin and neuer bring to endG
for with one looke she spils that long I sponneE
with one word my whole years work doth rendG
Such labour like the Spyders web I fyndG
whose fruitlesse worke is broken with least wyndG
