for my sweet Saynt some seruice fit will find | B |
Her temple fayre is built within my mind | B |
in which her glorious ymage placed is | C |
on which my thoughts doo day and night attend | B |
lyke sacred priests that neuer thinke amisse | C |
There I to her as th'author of my blisse | C |
will builde an altar to appease her yre | A |
and on the same my hart will sacrifise | C |
burning in flames of pure and chast desyre | A |
The which vouchsafe O goddesse to accept | B |
amongst thy deerest relicks to be kept | B |
